The PD Polar Express is a holiday event designed for seniors in local community living centers who may not have family nearby during the season. Seniors are treated to a magical Polar Express–style experience complete with a festive bus ride, a warm holiday meal, gifts from Santa, and fellowship.

About the event
The Waco Police Department in collaboration with the McLennan Community College Police Department are excited to announce we are once again having The PD Polar Express. This initiative reflects the strong partnerships between our two agencies working side by side to extend compassion, care, and holiday cheer to seniors in local community living centers.
For many of our elders, some of whom may not have nearby family during the holiday season, this event represents more than a festive gathering. It is a heartfelt reminder that they are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated as pillars of strength and wisdom in our community. Together, Waco PD and MCC PD are uniting their efforts, alongside local partners, to ensure these seniors experience the warmth of community during this special time of year.
