The COE
The purpose of the Community Opportunity Event (COE) is to provide a safe and supportive environment for youth of all ages while connecting them with valuable resources and information. The COE focuses on empowering young adults by offering access to life skills training, job opportunities, mentoring programs, mental and physical health resources, GED and higher education information, as well as scholarship and grant opportunities. This event is a collaborative effort between the police department and community stakeholders, united in their commitment to guide and equip our youth with the knowledge and support needed to make positive life choices.

The COE Corn Hole Tournament
Join us for a fun and competitive Cornhole Tournament at the COE. This youth-focused single-player tournament is designed to bring friendly competition, connection, and excitement to the day.
Participants will compete in one of two age divisions:

Ages 8–12
-
Ages 13–18
Each division will compete separately, with winners recognized in both groups.
Prizes:
-
1st Place (each division): $350 Shop With A Cop experience at Walmart
-
2nd Place (each division): $150 Shop With A Cop experience at Walmart
Please note: No cash prizes will be awarded. All winnings will be redeemed through Shop With A Cop, where participants will be paired with Waco Police Department officers.
